1. Go to blogger.com and create an account. Create a name for your site by tapping on "Your Blogs" and enter your Subdomain name/Domain name that describes your site in preferably one unique word but Two or Three words are just as effective with dashes in between. The main objective is to guess what will be typed in to the search engines by the visitors. EG. If your site is a story the best domain name is www.stories.com other wise www.my-fantastic-stories.com is ok to use. If a sub domain name is used the address would be www.stories.blogger.com unless you are using a different site builder. EG. www.stories.wordpress.com or www.stories."site-builder-you're-using".com. Different domain names are varied in prices like .org/co.uk or whatever you choose that is available to purchase

 

2. Create your first post/page by tapping on the "New Post" tab.

3. Begin with creating a title for your page at the top then a title of what describes your page where the content will be.

4. Add some content E.G Cookery, Stories, Arcade, Art Gallery, School Work and anything interesting to the visitors.

5. Add the labels (Key Words) and separate with commas. E.G for this page would be How To Build Your First Website, Build Your first Website, Website located on the right of the page builder.

6. Enter a description describing the page in detail with as many keywords as possible to show the search engines and visitors exactly what the page is about. The description can be added in to the search description section located on the right of the site builder. Once a page is created with some HTML, Uploads and any widget codes you can discover from the search engines that is offered to copy and add in to the HTML source. After you are happy with your page, Tap "Publish" and your page will be completed. Tap on "Manage" and tick the box to publish so the page is ready to be indexed by the search engines otherwise your page can be saved to complete at a later date located top right of the site builder.

7. Head over to Google Search Console and add your website. Add the property located top left of the page. EG. your sites address: "www.yoursite.com" otherwise your subdomain name "yoursite.blogger.com". Complete the process from the menu so that a Sitemap can be added and verification. Ensure you have completed your Contents, Help, Links, Contact Us, About Us, Terms And Conditions, Privacy Policy and Disclaimer pages especially required for Google AdSense advertising program and add a site map to Google Search Console and to your posts.

8. Arrange the details of E.G Title, Site Description, Favicon, Publishing, HTTPS, Indexing, robots txt, profile settings, ads.txt from Google AdSense and more settings to address to search engines. Its best to not change the robots text until more experienced unless you would like to block the robots accessing the page as it lets the robots know weather to crawl every page of your site but best to just swich it on.

Try adding this code to the custom robots.txt file.

9. Index your website on Google Search console, Set a domain name at your chosen domain name provider like Squarespace.com (Previously Google Domains) Go Daddy, WIX, 123 Reg and more. Add as much content as possible useful for visitors and update your pages regular with relevant links and information to help your blog grow and become a fully grown website.

10. Point your name servers to your domain name provider. Search for the name server code and add to the name server section wherever you bought your domain name other wise a subdomain name. EG. yoursite.blogger.com will have to be typed to access your site on the search engines. EG. Google search results.

Tips: To get your site hosted by Google add an @ sign, Save it and then remove it and leave blank to set email. Access as usually "CNAME" for mobile and desktop (A/AAAA records are for IPv6 addresses and type ghs.googlehosted.com to complete the form. Go to settings in Blogger and add the domain name. Go back to the site to copy the code and verify your domain name in Blogger settings (Custom Domain Section).

Smooth Scroll: Find the smooth scroll code (Preferably CSS). go to Theme and add your code in to the CSS section.

Copy the codes from Google Search Console and find the verification section. Copy the codes and add to the main HTML in "Blogger Theme" Otherwise codes can be added to the Layout section in Blogger. CSS can be added to style, Design and alter the appearance of a webpage turning your website in to an attractive, interactive digital experience.

Type in whatever you would like to add in to your websites on Google Search and copy the codes to add to the HTML to attract visitors to your site and keep them coming back like radio players and games widgets. The advanced website builder who have more expensive and powerful computers can create their own widgets and HTML coding usually created by leading providers like Google, Facebook and YouTube.

Arrange pages to your desired positioning by adjusting the time and date in post setting right of the page builder in blogger.

Set "Major Heading" for "Title", "Heading" for "links", "Paragraph" for the text with as many as 100 links a page and ensure your site is efficient with easy navigation to every page. EG. Add pages in layout and the links page for quicker and easier access to your pages.

If you would like to earn an income, Complete the process in blogger settings and verify as much of the site as possible in Google Search Console and tap on earnings in the Blogger menu to complete the Google AdSense process. Copy the code and add to the main HTML in Theme. Sometimes the code may be added to the layout HTML, Its easy, Just find the tool in the menu located in the layout section, Add the HTML code and publish the layout usually bottom right of the page. Other widgets and tools can be used to make your site even more interesting with a sidebar and different navigation settings tools.
